Pakistani court extends Imran Khan's bail requests in 9 instances, which is a significant relief.

Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, experienced a significant relief on Thursday as the Islamabad High Court here extended his bail requests in nine instances after he showed up in person after receiving a warning from the court.

After receiving a warning that his bail would be revoked for repeatedly missing court dates, the former premier appeared before the two-member bench presided over by IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq in front of a heavily guarded audience.

At the beginning of the hearing, Khan's attorney, Barrister Safdar, said that 140 cases had already been filed against the PTI leader, and that the petitioner had, to his knowledge, requested bail in every single one of those instances.

The judge instructed Khan to go before the trial court while prolonging Khan's interim release in seven terror counts for a further 10 days.

A medical report from a government hospital should be given to request an extension in the future, according to CJ Farooq, who also issued an order for documentation on the application for permission to appear via video connection.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha was the target of an attempted murder, and the court prolonged Khan's interim bail in both of these instances until May 9.

Additionally, the IHC CJ mandated that Khan's motion for a stay of proceedings in the cases against him be scheduled for May 9.

'Number of cases registered me will soon hit double century'

The PTI leader said that he had told the Lahore High Court's five-member bench about the individual who can hurt him at one point during the hearing when he approached the podium.

He accused the person in charge of the caretaker administration, saying, "If I take his name, none of the newspapers will publish that."

After the two-member bench left the courtroom, Khan responded to a journalist's query regarding interactions with American diplomats in a casual conversation. We want to get along with everyone, he declared.

Days before to his comments, PTI Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry had a meeting with Donald Blome, the US Ambassador to Pakistan.

Khan predicted that the number of cases filed against him will soon reach a double century in a lighthearted yet cynical tone.

Khan said, "In cricket I only managed to score 170, but in politics I'll achieve a double century.

General (retired) Qamar javed bajwa, the previous chief of army staff, was mocked by Khan by saying: "During several briefings, bajwa said that there is no oil in tanks."

"I was surprised that what kind of an army chief is he who is talking about such things," he said.

He also criticized the visit to India by Foreign Minister bilawal Bhutto-zardari during the chat.

When asked about the divisions among the puisnes, Khan responded that the complaint against Justice Qazi Faiz Isa came from those who had positions above General (retd) Faiz Hamid.

He said that they (the PTI) had been informed the responses needed to come from Qazi Faez Isa. "We were told that the law is equal for everyone, therefore we also gave answers," he stated.

Later, he continued, "we realised that there was some other purpose behind all of this."

'Will appear before court despite pain, swelling'

The PTI leader stated earlier today that he "respects the court" and will go to court despite "pain and swelling" in his leg.

In a brief video message posted on social media, Khan, who was waiting to be wheeled into the car before travelling to Islamabad, said: "[We] respect the courts, so will appear [before the court] despite pain and swelling in the leg."
